:: Our Activities & Operations

The Retort Group at present is mainly engaged in manufacturing of Solvent Dyes with a phenomenal growth in its areas of operations through product diversification and innovation and markets exploration over the years gone passed.

The manufacturing facilities are located at Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (M.I.DC) Tarapur – a prominent Industrial Estate, about 100 Kms / 62 Miles north of Mumbai, - the Commercial Capital of India. We are equipped with excellent Quality Control and R&D infrastructure to compliment our production activities at our plants.

The Company Headquarters is located in a prominent suburb of Mumbai, within a range of 100 Kms / 62 Miles from the manufacturing facilities & 3 Kms / 1.8 Miles for the Mumbai Domestic & International Airport.

We practice de-centralised method of operations.

At present we have 4 number of independent manufacturing units located in close proximity to each other within M.I.D.C. Tarapur, which gives us better control and monitoring on the production activities.

We have fantastic internal transportation facilities in order to ensure smooth and safe movement of material and people from one unit to another.

To implement this philosophy, we have taken several measures like a flat organisational structure. There are only three levels of responsibilities ranging from the Board Of Directors, Department Heads to Supervisors.

This structure ensures better communication and speedy decision-making processes. It also creates an environment that builds trust, transparency, co-operation & co-ordination and a sense of belongingness amongst the employees.

Currently the company has well trained staff and workmen. The company also undertakes monthly medical checkups and provides free medication facilities to all our employees. We work as a family rather than mere organizations.
